Good Earth Smell  - Actinorhizae are organs composed of root tissue and actinomycetes.  Actinomycetes give soil that "good earth smell".   Soil, actinomycetes are very tolerant of water stress.  Actinomycetes often give that "good earth " aroma after a rain.  Click here for more.
