Linear Curves  - Linear curves are straight lines between a horizontal base and a vertical line at 90° to the base.  Linearity means that for every unit outward on the base-X axis-there is a unit increase on the Y axis that fits a straight line.  Linearity means that you can predict what will happen as one or the other factor changes.  In nature, linearity may occur for short durations.  And when it does, it will really be a series of vibrations or a jagged pattern along the linear curve.
