Symbiosis in Plant Life  - In nature, animal life as well as plant life, different species often live together for mutual enhancement or even survival.  Infection is the establishment of an energy transfer between two different species' systems.  When the energy transfer increases the disorder of a part, or the entire system of the donor, or host, and increases the order of the receiver, or pathogen, the process is called disease.  When both systems benefit from the energy transfer, then the process is called symbiosis.
