The "Mathematical Curve" of Cross -Sectional Area
[The Basics]

In cross section.  If each increment is equal in width,  then the 20th increment (ring) is equal to that of the first 6.245 increments.

Mathematical Formula: M = [Square Root of 2N-1]
(N = the Nth Increment)
E.g., (2 X 20) - 1 = 39  ////// The square root of 39 is 6.245
