Angiosperms    - Angiosperms are plants that have covered seeds such as oaks and maples.  They have vessels.  Angiosperms have phenol-based substances mostly as protection compounds. Gymnosperms have isoprene or terpene-based substances mostly as their protection compounds and have tracheids, not vessels.
