Construction Injured Trees  - Trees that have been injured by construction.  Some examples are soil compaction, root system damage, wounds to trunk, over pruning at construction time, over fertilization, removal of companion plants, changed wind patterns and amount of sunlight and water pattern changes.  Turf grass is also planted beneath construction trees.  Addition or soil of grade changes and the list goes on.  Click here for page 329 SHIGO, MODERN ARBORICULTURE.
